Scott enters Princeton University with Class of 1917 and contributes to The Princeton Tiger, a Princeton University humour magazine. He meets Edmund Wilson, John Peale Bishop and John Biggs Jnr., who become lifelong friends.
The production of Scott's play Assorted Spirits at the St. Paul Y.W.C.A. Auditorium, raising $500 for the Baby Welfare Association. Scott played a role and was listed on the programme as Stage Manager.
Zelda enters Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery.
The production of Fie! Fie! Fi-Fi!, a musical comedy, with 17 song lyrics by Scott, presented by the Princeton University theatrical group, the Princeton Triangle Club.
Scott meets and falls in love with wealthy socialite Ginevra King (the model for several of his heroines) at the Town and Country Club in St. Paul at a party in her honour. He wrote endless letters to her and later stated that she threw him over "with the most supreme boredom and indifference."
Shadow Laurels, is published in The Nassau Literary Magazine.
Scott spends the summer at the Montana ranch of his school friend "Sap" Donahoe.
Scott attends his last class and drops out of Princeton for remainder of junior year. Although in academic difficulties he is allowed to leave for "health reasons."
