This year David appeared as the psychotic
transvestite Petal in Boy George’s Taboo, Ernest Hemmingway in The
Beautiful and Damned, Guilford and as Odysseus in the forthcoming
production of Helen of Troy by AC/DC’s Brain Johnson and David
Healey. He has also been working on preparatory readings for Hugh
Whitemore’s translation of Tolstoy’s War and Peace in the role of
the narrator Bilibin.
Most recently he appeared as the infamous
Rufus Griswold in Eric Woolfson’s filmed production of Edgar Allen
Poe at the Abbey Road Studios. He played Agamemnon in the BBC’s The
Trojan Horse, ands the Duke of Venice in Trevor Nunn’s award winning
production of The Merchant of Venice.
