Jo is from Bo’ness in Scotland. She began
her training at The Dance School of Scotland in Glasgow, and then
continued at Laine Theatre Arts, in Epsom.
She made her West End debut in CATS, at
the New London Theatre playing Rumpleteaser, also understudying and
playing the roles of Demeter and Jemima. She was subsequently
offered the role of Rumpleteaser in CATS – THE VIDEO (Really Useful
Films).
Other theatre work includes Dance
Captain/Swing on Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, at the Dominion
Theatre, London; Columbia in the national tour of THE ROCKY HORROR
SHOW; and Pearl, in the final cast of STARLIGHT EXPRESS at the
Apollo Theatre, Victoria.
