He has played two seasons at The
Haymarket Theatre Basingstoke where roles included Benny in IN THE
MIDNIGHT HOUR, Sergeant Match in WHAT THE BUTLER SAW, The Host in
THE CANTERBURY TALES, and Roger Dervish in OUTSIDE EDGE.
Other theatre roles include Craig in
PLEASANT VICES (Edinburgh Festival), Grandpa Joe in CHARLIE AND THE
CHOCOLATE FACTORY (National Tour) and Gandalf in THE HOBBIT
(National Tour).
Stuart was also an associate member of
THE ENGLISH TEACHING THEATRE for 12 years and has performed in over
20 countries with them.
