David Krane is Broadway’s leading
composer of dance and incidental music. Most recently, he composed
the dance music and additional score adaptation for the Oscar
Winning movie, Chicago.
Theatre: Cabaret (Rob Marshall/Sam Mendes), Oklahoma!, originating
at the Royal National Theatre in London, starring Hugh Jackman, for
which he composed a 15 minute new dream ballet for Susan Stroman and
was subsequently filmed, Man of La Mancha, Ragtime, Kiss of the
Spider Woman, The Music Man, Show Boat, The World Goes Round
(orchestrations – Drama Desk Nominee), and Victor/Victoria, starring
Julie Andrews, are just a few of the award winning shows he has
contributed to.
