1979: BMI “Song of the Year” Talking In Your Sleep - Crystal Gayle.
1993: “King Sod” - awarded by the Society of Distinguished Song
writers.
1994: “Roger Cook Day” awarded by the Mayor of Nashville.
1995: BASCA/Jimmy Kennedy lifetime achievement award (with co-writer
Roger Greenaway).
1997: ASCAP “Song of the Year” One Night At A Time - George Strait.
1998: Induction into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.
