As Staff Director for D’Oyly Carte Opera
he worked on Iolanthe and The Yeomen of the Guard (both at the Savoy
Theatre). He is a member of the Young Vic Director’s Forum and
regularly directs drama school productions and facilitates drama
based workshops for East-Side Educational Trust. Most recently he
was Assistant Director for Beautiful and Damned during its try-out
in Guildford last June.
Simon will be directing the new summer
tour of Art later this year as well as the world premiere of Full
Frontal Diva at the Finborough Theatre in the Autumn, produced by
Millionth Muse Productions, the company he co-runs with Paul L.
